Gala Gallery was founded in 1989 and showcases contemporary Georgian art. The collection of the Gala Gallery unites works from the 1980-90s, which have already become a part of history and reflect specific visions of the transitional period. Its goal is to promote contemporary art among those groups of the society that are less in touch with this realm. It has become one of the most popular centrally located venues of Tbilisi.
