Dubai Historical District in Bur Dubai
Discover old Dubai in Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, where winding stone alleys and
charismatic windtower architecture reflect life before skyscrapers. Follow the alleyways to hidden tea houses, art galleries and cultural installations that uncover Dubai’s past. House of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum
Overlooking the mouth of the creek at Shindagha, the Home of Sheikh Saeed is a listed national monument that showcases the history of the development of Dubai. Dating back to 1896, the building was once home to the local government, the nucleus for political and social organisations and the official residence of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum.
