Zilberman Gallery was founded in Istanbul in 2008 and opened its Berlin space in 2016. Its aim is twofold: to promote contemporary artists from Turkey internationally and to introduce international artists to the local art scene. The gallery stages 10-12 exhibitions a year at its main gallery space and project space in Istanbul. Zilberman Gallery has a strong presence in international art fairs, forging close relationships with collectors, curators and cultural thinkers and creating opportunities for gallery artists. To this effect, the gallery makes a point of working with independent curators for a number of exhibitions each season.
