Galerie Iragui was opened in Moscow in March 2008. The gallery actively engages Russian artists, who are already famous and established in the West, such as representatives of Moscow conceptualism, and also young emerging artists of new generation. Beyond its gallery-based curatorial projects, Galerie Iragui collaborates successfully with a number of reputed Russian museums, Moscow International Biennale as well as with French cultural institutions. The gallery creates an international dialogue through presenting Russian artists at the European art scene, bringing foreign contemporary art to Russia, and participating in international art fairs on a regular basis.
