Galeri Zilberman was founded in 2008. Its aim is twofold: to promote contemporary Turkish artists internationally and to introduce international artists to the local art scene. Galeri Zilberman stages 10-12 exhibitions a year in one gallery and one project space. The gallery has a strong presence in international art fairs, forging close relationships with collectors, curators and cultural thinkers and creating opportunities for gallery artists. To this effect, Galeri Zilberman makes a point of working with independent curators for a number of exhibitions each season.
