Galleria Continua was founded in 1990 in San Gimignano. The gallery has built a strong identity in the past 20 years, maintaining continuity between generations and building artistic collaborations with established and emerging artists. In 2004, Galleria Continua was one of the first non-Chinese galleries to establish itself in China with the aim of promoting international contemporary art. In 2007, Galleria Continua inaugurated a new site for contemporary creation in the Parisian countryside, Le Moulin, to host projects and exhibitions of monumental works by artists from the five continents.
