Established in 2010, the São Paulo-based, Baró Galeria operates as an alternative urban space, presenting its exhibitions in a former hanger. Typically, the gallery exhibits site-specific, curated projects, mixing the diverse styles of artists like David Medalla, Felipe Ehrenberg and Roberto Jacoby with emerging artists, such as Toby Christian, Flávia Junqueira, Lourival Cuquinha, Mariana Sissia. Exhibitions produced by Baró Galeria attempt to introduce Latin American artists to international audiences, while establishing channels of dialogue between the artists, institutions and audiences.
