Le Violon Bleu opened its doors in Tunisia in 2004 at the initiative of Mrs Essia Hamdi. The gallery is situated in the prestigious blue and white village of Sidi Bou Said, with exceptional views of Carthage and the Mediterranean Sea. The gallery’s choices are based on internationally renowned artists, with proven talent and track record. Many of our artists are included in public collections including the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the British Museum, London. The programme includes Arman, Sosno, Farid Belkahia, Adel El Siwi, Rafik El Kamel, Abderrazak Sahly, Meriem Bouderbala, Najia Mehadji, as well as many young artists working with photography and video.
