In 1977, Marian Goodman opened her gallery with the first exhibition of Marcel Broodthaers in the United States (US), which was organised before his death in 1976. Since its inception, Marian Goodman Gallery has expanded to an additional space in New York City, a gallery in Paris and will open a new space in London this year. The gallery actively seeks to promote emerging and established European artists to the US.
