Ota Fine Arts was established in 1994 in Tokyo. For over 20 years, the gallery has defined itself as being a pioneer of Japanese contemporary art. It has promoted various Japanese artists, including internationally acclaimed Yayoi Kusama. Ranging from painters to video artists to craftsmen, the gallery represents talented and unique artists regardless of their medium of choice. In recent years, Ota Fine Arts’ curatorial mission has been to bring elements of regional identity to its exhibitions and programming and as of 2012 the gallery has expanded to a new location in Singapore.
