Founded in January 2011 by Marina Pecherskaya in Moscow, Pechersky Gallery promotes and supports emerging artists from Russia and countries from the former Soviet Union. Each year, apart from its internal exhibitions, the gallery focuses on a particular curatorial theme—from the 2012 examination of the New Wave Movement in Russia to a show dedicated to public art in 2013.
