Pi Artworks was founded in 1998 by Yesim Turanli in Istanbul, and has been committed to showcasing the best of contemporary Turkish and international art to Istanbul’s growing art scene. In 2009, Pi Artworks’ gallery programme expanded to include international artists. Bringing together local and international artists through shows, panels and performances, Pi Artworks seeks to create a dialogue about the relationship of contemporary Turkish art and art being produced in other regions of the world. Pi Artworks has since expanded to include a space in Istanbul as well as a space in London.
