Founded by the art critics Łukasz Gorczyca and Michał Kaczyński in 2001 in Warsaw, as a continuation of the Raster Art Magazine and the Naświetlarnia Garage Gallery (meaning: Exposure Room), the gallery exhibits young artists in their early careers as well as established artists of the middle and elder generations. Raster’s programme includes a focus on visual art, performances, lectures, literature events, and concerts.
