Sabrina Amrani opened her eponymous gallery based in Madrid, Spain, in June 2011. French of Algerian origin, she was raised amongst a mix of cultures, traditions and habits that are common ground to most of the artists she works with. Her gallery represents artists across both the East and West, and is committed to eliminating cultural gaps while promoting a dialogue of exchange and intellectual, artistic growth. Although the gallery represents emergent and established artists of any nationality, the project pays particular attention to the new voices that stem from the Global South.

Sabrina Amrani Gallery fosters artistic proposals that invite visitors to think about both society and the individual: socio-political issues, identity, space, architecture are all explored. Talented artists from around the world share their work to a global audience in this space, therefore showcasing the will of the gallery in becoming an international cultural agent.

The gallery regularly organizes and participates in not-for-profit activities such as screenings, workshops, education programs, public lectures and panels with prominent and relevant names in the industry. These are hosted in the gallery space or outside its walls in collaboration with various other institutions and art organizations.

In January 2019, the gallery inaugurated a second, 600 sqm space in Madrid.
