Founded by Ziad Anani in 2013, Zawyeh Gallery is one of the first independent art galleries dedicated to supporting Palestinian artists, both emerging and established. With its first opening located in Ramallah, Palestine, in 2020, the gallery expanded its reach by establishing a second location at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai, UAE.

Zawyeh Gallery seeks to promote its purpose through a diverse range of thematic exhibitions. Over the years, the gallery has curated numerous solo and collective shows, showcasing artworks that span various mediums such as painting, sculpture, installation, video, and photography. In addition to its local presence, Zawyeh Gallery consistently strives to support and elevate young artists— who often create work relating to identity, critical politics, displacement, and the Palestinian struggle— and bring contemporary and modern Palestinian art to an international audience. Zawyeh Gallery sees these artists as instruments of resilience in the face of adversity. By supporting and investing in these qualities, the gallery seeks to foster a hub dedicated to enriching a vibrant and spirited artistic community
