VOLUNTEERS 2023

Each year, Art Dubai invites arts enthusiasts to apply to be part of our Volunteer Programme, a structured initiative which sees young people get involved in all aspects of the fair and experience its programmes first-hand. Our dedicated volunteers serve as the ambassadors of the event and play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of the event. On-site volunteers are given capacity building opportunities that involve working with galleries, manning welcome desks, interacting with guests and audiences, providing information to visitors and other specialized tasks within different programmes and areas. Our volunteers are highly valued and are the backbone of the fair.

We encourage applications from UAE nationals and residents as well as international volunteers. Please note that we are not able to make arrangements for visas, flights or accommodation.

WHAT CAN VOLUNTEERS EXPECT?

To develop your skills and experience in the global contemporary arts industry
Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the operations of a leading international art fair
Work closely with the Art Dubai team
Assist in areas that utilize your specific skill set, expertise and learn new skills
Foster local community involvement
Opportunity to engage with a week-long event dedicated to art, attended by local and international influencers in the field

What volunteer roles are available?

Our volunteers have a chance to experience working in various roles across the breadth of the fair, including the four gallery halls, the Global Art Forum, VIP and Guest Relations, the children’s and education programmes, and fair and event management. The roles include but are not limited to the following:
